October means the best of the harvest is upon us! You can be sure you will find an apple to suit your taste. We have apples perfect for fresh eating, baking apple pie, apple crisp, making applesauce or freezing. Whatever you need — we’ll have the apple to meet it!
The cooler is full of an awesome variety of apples! Available in the store are: Honeycrisp, SweeTango, Honeygold, Haralson, Cortland, Fireside, Snow Sweet and Prairie Spy. Yet to come, Keepsake.
Due to a busy day, and beautiful weather, U-pickers picked all the ripe apples this weekend. We’re no longer able to offer PYO on Sunday.
We continue with our full line-up of weekend activities! Hayrides, and hayrides to the pumpkin patch. Hayride tickets are $4 per person, under 3 free. Take a hayride, pick out a pumpkin. Sounds like fun!
The food trailer will be cooking up those yummy donuts and apple brats; and it will be the last weekend of music at the orchard.
