The orchard is currently closed. The 2020 Fall Apple Orchard Season begins Labor Day Weekend; September 5, 6 & 7th. Hours 10 am to 6 pm.
This page includes important information about planning your trip to the orchard this fall. We’re excited to let you know we’ve added onto our Appleshed and that will give us more space as you shop.
We’re pleased to offer most of what you enjoy about your trip to Pleasant Valley Orchard. We’ve never had a lot of bells and whistles here, and this year we may have less.
Our goal this fall is to provide you with a fun fall experience, amazing apples and bakery, while keeping you, your family, our staff and our family safe.
For all the tastes and colors of fall, there is no better place than an apple orchard! And Pleasant Valley Orchard offers that and more! Fresh, tree-ripened apples to delight your taste buds, hand-dipped caramel apples full of gooey goodness and beautiful pumpkins are a fall-lovers delight! We offer a low-key family atmosphere, with just the right elements.
You will find your favorite Minnesota Grown apples, Pleasant Valley Apple Pie, caramel apples, apple turnovers, apple brats, fresh apple cider, a HUGE assortment of pumpkins, gourmet foods, fall, farmhouse and Christmas decor and gift items.
We invite you to enjoy our scenic location during regular business hours.
Weekdays is a relaxing time to enjoy the orchard. Activities available every day include nature trail, farm animals, hay pile, picnic area, our famous caramel apples, scones and turnovers, cookies and of course, apples and shopping!
Our apples are pre-picked but on weekends, you have the option to pick them yourself, in season, while supplies last.
Food Trailer: What’s a trip to the orchard without apple cider donuts? You’ll find us making and serving apple cider donuts and brats in our food trailer.
Hayrides. Hayrides are a fun way to enjoy the orchard in the fall. Stay tuned for our 2020 hayride plans.
Music at the Orchard. Look forward to Saturday and Sunday afternoons of live music at the orchard. Groups will feature classic, blue grass, old-time, gospel and country. Hours: 1:00 pm to 4 pm.

Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch. Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick-your-own pumpkin on weekends beginning September 26 through Halloween.
Twelve Days of Halloween. (t) (October 20 – 31). Spooktacular special offers and our fun orchard scavenger hunt for the kids (with a prize).
November Barn Sale– November 1 – 7. The wood stove gently warms the Appleshed, unique Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts are available along with all your fall favorites! Discounts on apple seconds. Its the perfect time to stock up on apples and pies for the Thanksgiving Holidays. November Hours: 10 am to 5:00 pm.
Christmas Barn Sale– December 3, 4 & 5. Celebrate Christmas all around! Unique, one-of-a kind items, sales on gourmet foods and of course our yummy pies and caramel apples! Great hostess gifts and last chance to stock up on your favorite apples and treats! Hours 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
No reservations are required for our activities, but if you have a large group or would like to plan a group event, please let us know. We do not do weddings.
We love it that our customers enjoy the beautiful view from behind our barns, we do too! However, to ensure that our picnic area is available to all of our customers, we ask groups to limit their use of picnic tables to 30 minutes on weekends.
