2022 Fall Apple Orchard Season
For all the tastes and colors of fall, there is no better place than an apple orchard! And Pleasant Valley Orchard offers that and more! Fresh, tree-ripened apples to delight your taste buds, hand-dipped caramel apples full of gooey goodness and beautiful pumpkins are a fall-lovers delight! We offer a low-key family atmosphere, with just the right elements. Please note that we offer pick-your-own apples on Saturday and Sundays only.
You will find your favorite Minnesota Grown apples, Pleasant Valley Apple Pie, caramel apples, apple turnovers, apple brats, fresh apple cider, a HUGE assortment of pumpkins, gourmet foods, fall, farmhouse and Christmas decor and gift items.
We invite you to enjoy our scenic location during regular business hours.
Weekdays is a relaxing time to enjoy the orchard. Activities available every day include nature trail, farm animals, picnic area, caramel apples, scones and turnovers, cookies and of course, apples and shopping! Please note that we offer pick-your-own apples on weekends only.
Pleasant Valley Food Trailer. We’re super excited to have our own food trailer where you’ll find us making and serving donuts and brats on the weekends! 10 am to 5 pm
Hayrides. Take a scenic hayride throughout the orchard, Saturday and Sundays beginning September 17th through the end of October. Price is $5 per person; 3 and under free. Weather permitting.
Music at the Orchard. Join us for live music on Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the season. Featuring blue grass, old-time, gospel and country. Hours 1 – 4 pm unless otherwise noted.

Pumpkin Patch. Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick out your own very special pumpkin! Hayrides drop you off in the pumpkin patch, pick out your perfect pumpkin and hop back on the next hayride! Hayride tickets are $5 per person; 3 and under free. Pumpkins from the patch are $7 and you pay for them upon your return from your hayride.
Weekends beginning September 24 through end of October. Weather permitting and while supplies last.
October 8 & 9. St.Croix Camara Club Show. In partnership with Freshwater and Freshwater’s Weather Guide Calendar, the regional St. Croix Camara Club will do a photography showcasing beautiful and spectuacular member photos. The show will be in our restored barn.
November at the Orchard. The Orchard is open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays in November, starting November 3rd. We’ll have a good supply of apples, discounts on apple seconds, bakery, gourmet foods and fun Christmas decor and gifts. Its the perfect time to stock up on apples and pies for the Thanksgiving Holidays. Hours: 10 am to 5 pm.
December Sale. December 1, 2 & 3. Unique, one-of-a-kind items, sales on gourmet foods and of course our yummy pies and caramel apples. Great hostess gifts and last chance to stock up on your favorite apples and treats. 10 am to 4 pm.
No reservations are required for our activities, but if you have a large group or would like to plan a group event, please let us know. We do not do weddings.
We love it that our customers enjoy the beautiful view from behind our barns, we do too! However, to ensure that our picnic area is available to all of our customers, we ask groups to limit their use of picnic tables to 30 minutes on weekends.
