The fall colors decided to arrive in the St. Croix Valley! It is certainly very beautiful driving through the valley and into the lovely communities here in the Chisago Lakes area.
This week we’ve started picking everyone’s all-time favorite! Honeycrisp and will have them in the store starting Saturday and will be offering pick-your-own on SweeTango™, Honeycrisp and Cortland apples, while supplies last.
Apples currently available in the store are First Kiss™, Zestar! SweeTango™, Wealthy, Cortland, Chestnut Crab and Patten and Luscious Pears. ??
If you’re looking to jump start your fall baking – we highly recommend Zestar! Wealthy or Cortland apples. All are great for sauce, baking and pies. ?
Saturday we’ve got the St. Croix Valley Local Author Fair 11 am to 4 pm in the barn. Join local and regional authors for book readings, Q&A and the opportunity to purchase books. Co-sponsored by Twinflower books.
Music this weekend will feature Andrew Spreck on Saturday; and The Robert Brothers on Sunday. Music is from 1 pm to 4 pm.
All your other weekend favorites will be available! Hayrides, pick-your-own apples, the food trailer will be open for apple donuts, slushees and brats! ? ?
