Like good Minnesotans, we were very happy to have a the temperatures return to a fall-like feel this week. Last weekend’s heat was exhausting!
Thanks to everyone who came out opening weekend, it was great to see you all again. We have customers who have been coming since we opened our doors 31 years ago and it is a blessing to our family to experience fall with you.
The heat pushed everything and our pickers have been working overtime to bring in the apples. This weekend, September 9 & 10, you will find SweeTango™, Wealthy and Chestnut crabs added to our current line-up of First Kiss™ , RedFree and Zestar! apples. Pears varieties available include Summer Crisp and Patten pears.
We were super excited to debut our apple cider slushees this last weekend in the food trailer. Love all the positive feedback we are getting! This weekend the food trailer will be serving up all your favorites: apple brats, apple cider donuts and apple slushees!
We know you love pick-your-own and this weekend we will have a orchard favorite available for picking! SweeTango™. In addition to being simply beautiful apples, their flavor and crispness is amazing.
If you want to get a jump start on fall baking and apple sauce making; try Zestar! or Wealthy apples! That is what we use in all our bakery products until the Haralsons are ready.
