May is a special time of year. We slough off the remainder of winter and turn our attention to growing. The strawberries are marching toward June and the orchard is coming into bloom. The unseasonably warm temperatures of this week will push us from no bloom into full bloom rapidly.
As the orchard bursts forth we want to invite you to enjoy this special time of year with us. This year you’ll have two opportunities as a part of our Cider Saturdays. May 10th and May 17th we will see the orchard in various stages of bloom. It could be over by May 17th or remnants of bloom will linger. Nevertheless, it’s a once a year happening and we are happy to share it with you.
Enjoy a crisp, refreshing glass of hard cider while you explore the smells and sites of the orchard in bloom. Spring at its best in the St. Croix Valley.
