October is the best month in the fall! The crisp cool air, brightly colored leaves and all the things autumn. Apples, pumpkins, and hayrides!
Lucky for you, we have all three here at the orchard, plus a lovely nature trail through the woods and our beautiful maple trees. If you’ve never taken a walk through our woods, check it out next time you’re here.
Apples available in the store are: SweeTango, First Kiss, Honeycrisp, Zestar!, Haralson, Honeygold, Cortland, Sweet 16 and McIntosh.
Pick-Your-Own this weekend will be on Honeygold and Haralson apples. Haralson apples are a Minnesota tradition since 1922. It’s crisp, tart, great for eating and even better in pie and sauce.
Weekend activities include hayrides, and hayrides to the pumpkin patch. Our food trailer will be open with apple cider slushees, donuts and brats. Looking at the forecast, we’re adding in hot cider to the line-up!
