I don’t know about you, but for nearly my whole life I felt like summer was half over after the Fourth of July. For us, July is a transition season from planting to growing. Apples are coming along nicely, we’ve avoided the hail storms that plagued our area and affected some of our colleagues. Pumpkins are planted and we’re working on our scheduling for the lead-up to the season.

We will be looking for adult help for a variety of jobs. Do you like baking and making pies? Join our pie crew. Are you looking for something flexible and want to hand-dip caramel apples? We’re always on the look-out for apple pickers to work weekdays, 3-5 days a week. Finally, each year we need to add to our team who staff the store, 16-20 hours a week and must be able to work weekends. If you’re interested in learning more, please email Judy at info@pleasantvalleyorchard.com

More details to come on our opening plans, but you can be sure we’ll have all your favorites ready! Pies, cookies, caramel apples and those amazing fresh-tree ripened, Minnesota grown apples

Now go and enjoy summer! 😎
