Pleasant Valley Orchard Season Highlights

November Hours: Thursday – Saturday through December 2nd 10 am to 4 pm. Closed Thanksgiving weekend.

For all the tastes and colors of fall, there is no better place than an apple orchard! And Pleasant Valley Orchard offers that and more! Fresh, tree-ripened apples to delight your taste buds, hand-dipped caramel apples full of gooey goodness and beautiful pumpkins are a fall-lovers delight! We offer a low-key family atmosphere, with just the right elements. Please note that we offer pick-your-own apples on Saturday and Sundays only.

You will find your favorite Minnesota Grown apples, Pleasant Valley Apple Pie, caramel apples, apple turnovers, apple brats, fresh apple cider, a HUGE assortment of pumpkins, gourmet foods, fall, farmhouse and Christmas decor and gift items.

We invite you to enjoy our scenic location during regular business hours.

Weekend Activities – not available until 2024! 

Pick-Your-Own Apples. Offered on weekends only, select varieties while supplies last. Sold out for the season.

Pleasant Valley Food Trailer. Our food trailer serves up yummy apple donuts, apple brats and apple cider slushees.

Hayrides: Enjoy hayrides through our scenic orchard on beautiful fall weekends. Starting September 16 through the end of the season. Tickets: $5.00 per person; 3 and under free.

Music at the Orchard. Saturdays and Sundays. 1- 4 pm unless otherwise noted. Enjoy blue grass, classic county, rock and pop with these great local musicians.

Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch. Saturdays and Sundays beginning September 30 through October 29. Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick-your-own pumpkin. Hayrides drop you off in the patch; and will circle back and pick you and your pumpkin up. Tickets: $5.00 per person; 3 and under free.

Twelve Days of Halloween – October 20-31st. Spooktacular celebration with special events, activities and daily special sales the twelve days before Halloween! Events include spooky story time for the kids, kids’ scavenger hunt and prizes, and pumpkin baking contest!  Celebrate the Halloween Season with us!

  • October 20th – Spooky Story Time. Join us for story book readings and crafts for kids in the loft of the Barn. Time: 11 am & 12:30 pm. Halloween at the Orchard by Phyllis Alsdurf.  Co-sponsored by Twinflower Books. Free.
  • October 21 & 22 – Kid’s scavenger hunt with prizes. All day. Free.
  • October 21 & 24: Yoga at the Orchard. 
  • October 28th – Pumpkin Baking Contest. Using real pumpkin (not canned), this contest is a yummy way to showcase your baking smarts. Contestants will be eligible for bakery related prizes. Co-Sponsored by The Oven Mitt.

November at the Orchard. The Orchard is open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays in November, starting November 2nd. We’ll have a good supply of apples, discounts on apple seconds, bakery, gourmet foods and fun Christmas decor and gifts. Its the perfect time to stock up on apples and pies for the Thanksgiving Holidays. Hours: 10 am to 5 pm.

December Sale. November 30, December 1st and 2nd. Unique, one-of-a-kind items, sales on gourmet foods and of course our yummy pies and caramel apples. Great hostess gifts and last chance to stock up on your favorite apples and treats. 10 am to 4 pm.

No reservations are required for our activities, but if you have a large group or would like to plan a group event, please let us know.  We do not do weddings.

Picnic Area Guidelines

We love it that our customers enjoy the beautiful view from behind our barns, we do too! However, to ensure that our picnic area is available to all of our customers, we ask groups to limit their use of picnic tables to 30 minutes on weekends.
