November marks the last full days of fall, with a little wintry promise mixed in. At the orchard we celebrate these days as we enjoy the bounty of the fall harvest. The last day of the 2017 Orchard season is November 11th.
Our November Barn Sale begins November 1st and we have the bounty of the harvest available for you and your family to enjoy and anticipate sharing for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holidays!
SweeTango™, Honeycrisp, Honeygold, Haralson, Cortland, Fireside, Keepsake, SnowSweet, Prairie Spy, and a sampling of Pears are available! Plus we have those amazing apple pies and crisps ready to store in your freezer and bake whenever you want a taste of the fall. (And yes, we will have caramel apples).
If you like, as I do, to make applesauce and pies in November, our bushel sale on Haralson and Cortland apples is an economical way to do it!
We’ve tried to decorate our AppleShed for the season and we have some fun Thanksgiving and Christmas items – including an assortment beautiful candles. Lots of great ideas for hostess gifts and an assortment of baskets to put them in.
So, even though we’re done with the hayrides and pick-your-own, we welcome you to enjoy the warmth of the Appleshed and the beauty of the Orchard in November.  Hours:  10 am to 5 pm.
