This upcoming week is the Minnesota school holiday, MEA! This means we will have extra activities available Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday! (October 17, 18, 19 & 20). The weather forecast looks perfect for a fall outing to the orchard. And the colors in the St. Croix Valley are spectacular!
For the MEA long-holiday weekend, you will find the following activities available at the orchard:
Scavenger Hunt with a prize for all participants.
Hayrides.
Hayrides to the pumpkin patch.
Pick-Your-Own apples on Haralson and SnowSweet.
Nature Trail, Farm Animals and kids play area.
Pumpkins in every shape, color and size!
Saturday and Sunday we will have our food trailer open serving up apple donuts, apple brats, hot dogs and hot cider.
Saturday will be our last Music At The Orchard for this season, featuring Joey Stephenson.
Apple varieties currently available in the store include Honeycrisp, SweeTango™, Haralson, Sweet16, Frostbite, SnowSweet, Cortland, McIntosh apples. Around the corner we’re looking forward to Honeygold, Fireside and Keepsake.
The Orchard will be open through November 9th. We have a few more events scheduled for the season and hope to see you yet (or again) this year!
