2017 Fall Activities

A trip to the orchard for tree-ripened apples, bakery treats and pumpkins is the perfect way to enjoy the crisp days of autumn. We offer a low-key family atmosphere, with just the right elements.

Weekdays

Weekdays is a relaxing time to enjoy the orchard.  Activities available every day include nature trail, farm animals, Kids Korral, corn box, picnic area, our famous caramel apples, scones and turnovers, cookies and of course, apples and shopping!  Hours 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.

Weekend Events

Pick-Your-Own Apples:  We offer you the fun time of picking your own apples on the weekends on select varieties. Offered on weekends only, weather permitting. The price for PYO apples is $2.40 a pound, we provide picking bags.

Hayrides:  Hayrides are a great way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the orchard. Offered on weekends, weather permitting. Hayride tickets are $3.50 per person, under 3 free.

Vendor Fair:   September 16. We’re all about celebrating community and we’ve invited friends and neighbors who do direct sales marketing to spend the day!  Lots of practical, unique and fun items will be available for purchase. Hours:  11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Music at the Orchard:  Join us as friends and neighbors bring us live music at the orchard. Featuring classic, old-time, blue-grass, gospel and country. 1 – 4 pm.

Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch:  Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick-your-own pumpkin on weekends beginning September 23 through the end of October.

Brat Feed and Old Fashioned Pie Social:  On Sundays, join friends and neighbors at the orchard for a delicious apple brat and a piece of Pleasant Valley Apple Pie and support community organizations.  All proceeds will go to the event host. Hours 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

12 Days of Halloween: October 20 – 31. Spooktacular special activities beginning October 22 through Halloween, hayrides to the pumpkin patch, fall crafts and special promotions! Free hayrides to kids in costumes on Halloween, at 4:00 and 4:30 pm. Orchard closes at 5 pm on Halloween.

Pumpkin Bake-off:  October 28. Try your skill at baking with a pie pumpkin. Pick up details and registration form by October 28 from the orchard or the Oven Mitt Store in Lindstrom.

November Barn Sale – November 1-til close of season. The wood stove gently warms the Appleshed, unique Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts are available along with all your fall favorites! Its the perfect time to stock up on apples and pies for the Thanksgiving Holidays. Hours: 10 am to 5:00 pm.

Christmas Barn Sale. November 30, December 1 & 2. Celebrate Christmas all around! Unique,one-of-a kind items, sales on gourmet foods and of course our yummy pies and caramel apples. Great hostess gifts and last chance to stock up on your favorite apples and treats! Hours 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

No reservations are required for our activities, but if you have a large group or would like to plan a group event, please let us know!

We love it that our customers enjoy the beautiful view from behind our barns, we do too! However, to ensure that our picnic area is available to all of our customers, we ask groups to limit their use of picnic tables to 30 minutes on weekends.
