Fall Orchard Activities

End of Season Hours:  Daily 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Fall is a special time at the orchard. Bright, crisp fall days paired with an amazing view of the St. Croix and it doesn’t get any better! Check out the special activities for fall and make sure Pleasant Valley Orchard is a part of your family’s fall traditions!

Daily

Nature Trail, Farm Animals, Kids Korral, Corn Box, Picnic Area, shopping in the apple shed or barn.

Fresh Baked Goods

We are baking daily! You will find either apple turnovers, strudel sticks, apple cinnamon cookies or apple scones!  On Saturdays and Sundays you can start your day with a fresh brewed cup of Orchard Blend Coffee, roasted especially for us by Northwoods Roasterie in Lindstrom.

November Barn Sale – November 1-12

The apple shed is transformed for the holidays, featuring snowmen in every shape and size, vintage Christmas ornaments, wreaths, gift baskets, candles and more! It’s also a great time to stock up on pies for Thanksgiving. November Hours 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Hayrides — Over for the Season

Hayrides are offered on weekends beginning September 17 & 18 running through the end of October, weather permitting. Hayrides are available from 11:00 am – 5:00 am, last approximately 20 minutes and take you through the orchard. Cost $2.50 per person.

Pick Your Own Weekends — Over for the Season

You are invited to pick your own apples on weekends beginning September 17 & 18 through the end of October, weather permitting.

Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins — Over for the Season

We will offer hayrides to the pumpkin patch on the backfields where you and your family can pick-out your perfect pumpkin on weekends in October, weather permitting.

MEA Weekend — October 20, 21, 22 and 23

On Thursday, you can enjoy a walk on our nature trail, visit the farm animals or goof off in the kids korral. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we will offer hayrides and pick-your-own apples (weather permitting).

No reservations are required for our activities, but if you have a large group or would like to plan a group event, please let us know!
